After spending a few hours trying to figure this out including digging around in their (hard to search) forums, I put in a support ticket and am posting here incase this is an easy one.TL;DR: If you have a Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas X and Mac OS X and your throttle works, how did you do it?I purchased the Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas X to use with Elite Dangerous, and expected it to work perfectly with the T.Flight control presets in Elite Dangerous on Mac OS X 10.11.2. Everything seems to, except the throttle. The T.Flight settings include 'Full Range', 'Joy Z-Axis', 'Continuous', 'Invert: On'. When attempting to throttle up:throttle 100% reverse: 100 reverse speedthrottle neutral: 84 reverse speedthrottle 100% forward: 0 speedNo forward motion, so not very useful. So i invert the control axis:100% reverse: 180 forward speedneutral: 81 forward speed100% forward: 0So it works, but is flipped backwards of what it should be and I can't go in reverse unless I set up a modifier. I purchased an app called 'joystick show' to see if this might be a hardware problem. For all other axes, the joystick registers -X, centered at 0, and +X.
For the throttle axis, 100% reverse is at 0, neutral is 1/2X and 100% forward is X which looks right to me, but maybe this is a hardware issue?I hoped to see numerical options in the config file, but looking in the config file all I see is the same things that are in the UI, no way to set throttle numerical inputs to points on the reverse/forward spread.Any ideas on how can I map this Joystick to have 100% reverse be full reverse speed, neutral be 0, and 100% forward be full forward speed?.
